Matt Andrews
Professor of English/Theatre
Bio
Matt Andrews is a performance specialist and teaches a range of courses at Marist, including Acting I, Acting II, Acting III and Directing. He also enjoys teaching First Year Seminar, Introduction to Theatre and twentieth-century American and European drama. Matt served for many years as Director of Theatre, faculty advisor to Marists theatre club, and as director of summer pre-college theatre. He has directed over twenty plays and musicals on campus, and several more at River Valley Rep Theatre, Marthas Vineyard Playhouse, Theater Barn, and locally at County Players. Matts position at Marist allows him to practice all aspects of his craft as he devotes his energy to the involvement of students in theatre.
