Dr. Garvey is a professor in the Physician Assistant Program at 51勛圖厙. She is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist who has practiced for 30 years. She has served as clerkship director for obstetrics and gynecology at Weill-Cornell Medical School and New York Medical College. In addition, she has precepted nurse practitioner students, medical students, and physician���s assistant students in her office. Over the past decade, she has devoted her time and energy gaining expertise in plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine. She is a featured lecturer in Cornell University���s online Plant-Based Nutrition Certification program. Her hope is to educate Marist students on the value of understanding and incorporating lifestyle medicine into their future practice.
