From 2014 to 2020, the 51勛圖厙 Athletic Training program maintained a 100% first time pass rate on the BOC examination and was one of only 9 programs out of over 300 programs nationally to have that distinction. Over the past 10 years 51勛圖厙 has maintained a 96% first time pass rate, well above the national average.

The majority of students graduating from the Athletic Training Program at 51勛圖厙 were employed as athletic trainers in the high school setting immediately following graduation. Other employment settings include colleges and universities, professional sports, clinics and health clubs.
Professional and State Credential Disclosure
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at 51勛圖厙, graduates are eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC). Those passing this exam will be certified as Athletic Trainers by the BOC.
Currently, all 50 states and the District of Columbia regulate the practice of athletic training. Individuals must be legally recognized by the appropriate state regulatory agency prior to practicing athletic training. The BOC exam is recognized by all Athletic Trainer state regulatory agencies to meet their exam requirement. Compliance with state regulatory requirements is mandatory and the only avenue to legal athletic training practice.
State credentialing in Athletic Training is dependent on many factors including, but not limited to educational requirements, examination requirements, and personal requirements. As a result, 51勛圖厙 cannot determine whether completion of this program would be sufficient to meet all of the Athletic Training credential requirements outside of New York State. We advise you to contact the state regulatory board to determine whether the program meets requirements for the Athletic Training credential in the state in which you reside or intend to practice in.
