51勛圖厙s Master of Arts in School Psychology program is NASP accredited and focuses on instruction in the theories and skills associated with the responsibilities regularly implemented by a school psychologist: prevention, evaluation, intervention, counseling, and consultation. Our goal is to prepare professionals who manifest a holistic blend of theory and practice in meeting the educational needs of todays students within the interacting contexts of their schools, families, and communities.

Early Acceptance for Marist Juniors
Current Marist students with junior status may apply for early acceptance into the MA in School Psychology program provided they have met all admission criteria. Application review will take place in January of the Junior year.

Dr. Stone has worked as a school psychologist in both school-based and clinical settings. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and has worked with children and adolescents with diverse learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. In addition, she has extensive experience consulting with parents, therapists, and educational staff to enhance the learning and social-emotional outcomes of students from preschool through high school.
As the director for the School Psychology Graduate Program, Dr. ODonnell brings extensive knowledge and expertise to Marists program. Dr. O'Donnell has affiliations with the New York Association of School Psychologists, the National Association of School Psychologists, the American Psychological Association, the trainers of School Psychologists, the trainers of School Psychologists, New York, and the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology.
Dr. Williams is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist. Her years of working with at-risk learners in both urban and rural communities have given her clear insights into the frustrations, challenges, and joys of working as a school psychologist. At the national level, Dr. Williams serves on the Trainers of School Psychologists (TSP) executive board, where she co-chairs the Social Justice task force and serves as membership coordinator.

Certification Disclosure
51勛圖厙 is a participant in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA). This agreement allows Marist to offer distance-learning programs to students residing in other SARA member states. SARA authorization does not extend to professional licensure board approvals.
The MA in School Psychology curriculum is designed to meet the licensure requirements in New York State. Other states have their own requirements, and for this reason, Marist cannot assure that students residing outside the state of New York will meet licensure requirements in another state. It is the applicants responsibility to determine if Marists MA in School Psychology curriculum satisfies their state licensure requirements and to monitor any changes to their state requirements.
